The Foy's Lake, Chittagong

The Foy's Lake was at first dug in 1924 and was named as Pahartali Lake. The Pahartali Lake was renamed as Foy's Lake after the Railway engineer Foy. The initiation of creating a natural environment was taken by the personnel of Assam-Bengal Railway. The Foy's Lake was build across a dam and was planned by English engineer Mr. Foy. The Foy's Lake in Chittagong is now an entertainment park and is managed by the Concord group. The Foy's Lake of Chittagong is counted among popular Visitors  Attractions in Chittagong. The lake is located amidst panoramic surroundings and is perfect for outings and picnics. It’s situated in the railway township of Pahartali, which is 8 kilometers away from the centre of the city of Chittagong. The place is thronged by thousands of visitors every week.
